Market Preparation

I have always wanted to sell my crafts at a market, and this 4th of July will be my first opportunity to do so. I have prepped ambitiously but not sewn quite enough, so now it’s crunch time. I have to balance end of school year obligations with the demands I have for myself in preparation for the market.

While I’m winding down the school year, and the workload is not as intense, I am feeling the crunch of getting ready for the Fourth of July market. I’m excited, nervous, and frustrated. I can’t wait for the weekend to soak in the ambience and show off my craft, but I feel some trepidation about how my products will be received, and I am a little humbled and annoyed that I haven’t maximized my leisure to sew more.

It’s Sunday night, I have four slings prepped and ready to sew, but no bandwidth yet to actually sit down at my machine. Slow and steady wins the race, they say, so hopefully my pace fosters the care and patience needed for the precision required for my projects.
